ADHD and me

Picture
In November 2021 I was retrospectively diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It’s honestly amazing news. I’m one of the estimated 1 million Australians living with ‘a Ferrari brain with bicycle brakes’, as world-renowned psychiatrist and fellow ADHDer Dr Ned Hallowell so aptly puts it. No, ADHD is not only confined to boys. Girls have it too, in undiagnosed droves and I am keen to add my voice to the current social discourse and crush any stigma. Read more about my personal discovery by clicking here. Further information is located on my PhD Project page and below.

I am available to visit your organisation to speak about my lived experience as a woman with ADHD (supported by references to scholarly literature). To arrange, please email me using the envelope icon at the top of the page. NB: I reside in Australia.
